Pop up tents are amazing. They make camping so easy. However, they can be a bit of a pain to pack up. That’s why we’re giving you step-by-step instructions that will help you get your tent back into its original bag.
Make sure your tent is totally dry. If you can’t wait for it to dry on its own, use a clean, dry cloth. You can also use a sponge with water and mild soap to clean mud or dirt from the underside of your tent. If you’re out and can’t dry your tent, open it up and dry it when you get home.
Take the top high arches of your tent and fold them into the middle, holding them with one hand.
Grab the back of your tent and fold it into the middle. Grab all three points with one hand.
Bring the front arch together and meet the other points, ensuring the door is unzipped so the air can be released. Your tent should be in a taco shape.
Turn your tent up, gripping the arches with one hand. Once upright, push the highest part of the tent down. The tent should be closed in on itself with the arches in one hand, remaining outside.
Twist the tent to form two circles, pulling one to overlap the other. Line up the edges so that it’s a neat as possible.
Secure your tent with the built-in snaps, Velcros or ties.
Put the tent back in it’s bag. Zip it up and you’re done!
